11v11 Rules 

 

FIFA laws shall govern all games with the exception of the league rules listed below:

* All players must be able to show proof of identification to play.

* Teams using illegal players will automatically forfeit the game.

* A maximum of 11 players per team on the field with one being the goalie.

* No overtime will be played in regular season games. Ties will be recorded.

*  Games will be officiated by one middle referee and two linesmen

* Shin-guards and soccer cleats (metal studs not allowed) are required.

*  Teams must have matching shirts with unique numbers for each player.

* Games are two 40 minute halves running clock with no injury time added.

* Halftime is 5 mins

* Teams must have a minimum of 8 players to play the game.

* Teams with less than the minimum will be given a 10 minute grace period after which the game will be forfeited. If minimum is met during the grace period, the game will be shortened per the delay.

* Unlimited substitutions, except for goalie, are allowed only on a deadball. Player(s) being subbed must fully exit the field at centerline before the substitute(s) enter from centerline.

* Goalie changes can only be made during dead ball situations and with the permission of the referee.

*Teams are responsible for managing the correct number of players on the field at all times. Substitution violations will result in yellow cards to offending players.

* Offside rules will be followed. 

* Slide tackling is allowed. 

* Goalies are permitted to slide anywhere within the penalty area, but dangerous slide tackles will be called.

*  Red carded players must immediately leave the vicinity of the field and the team must play down a player.

* Only players are allowed to be on the players bench.
