We have made an amendment to our Glasses / Spectacles policy.  In addition to sporting goggles, spectacles / glasses may be worn if they meet the following criteria: 

• Shatterproof Lenses: Lenses must be plastic or polycarbonate to prevent shattering upon impact.
• No Hard/Metal Frames: Everyday frames are too brittle and can break, potentially causing cuts to your face or eyes if you take a ball to the head.
• Athletic Straps: Even with sport goggles, a retaining strap or band is highly recommended so they don’t fly off when you head the ball or sprint.
• Referee Discretion: Ultimately, the referee has the final say on the pitch. If they inspect your glasses and determine they pose a danger to you or other players, they can ask you to remove them.
